• Hummingbirds Are Imperiled By Primarily eforestation For Plantations And Livestock

• Speaking on October 30, 2011 to Mexican news agency Notimex, Ecuadorian biologist and professor Mario Garcia warns that hummingbirds, whose colorful beauty was once abundant in great variety across the Latin American country, are now imperiled by primarily deforestation for plantations and livestock, with many species that face extinction.
